Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Marion County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
