Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Monroe County, Alabama. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance On a typical shift you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes.
