Elevator technician — Coventry

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Coventry, England. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Day-to-day duties: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. £2,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
