Earthmoving equipment operator — Potter County

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Potter County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a busy earthworks site. On a typical shift you will work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
