Mechanical press operator — Brazoria County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Brazoria County, Texas. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. You will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
