Great opportunity: vertical transportation technician (Washington)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in King County, Washington. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day to day you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; run load and overload tests with test weights; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Performance bonus on top of base pay.
