Sample machinist — Venango County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Venango County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Day to day you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line.
