Join our team: we are hiring a stitching operator in Rankin County, Mississippi. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. You will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
