Semi-automatic welder — Bleckley County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Bleckley County, Georgia. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings On a typical shift you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off.
