Dispatch packer wanted in Sumter County

Join our team: we are hiring a dispatch packer in Sumter County, Georgia. You will be based in a cold-storage packing unit. You should have: • Previous experience on a packing or production line • Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing The role involves: • Change over film rolls and reset the heat sealer • Apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack • Operate the filling and sealing machine on the line • Feed products onto the conveyor belt and clear jams • Check best-before and expiry dates on every box • Wipe down and sanitise the line following hygiene rules Six days a week, one day off.
