Immediate opening: we are hiring a stitching operator in Monterey County, California. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. The role involves: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
