Slinger signaller — Howard County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Howard County, Texas. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. You will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; read lift plans and method statements before starting; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 1+ years on the tools preferred.
