Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Scioto County, Ohio. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line On a typical shift you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality.
