Foundry worker — Potter County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Potter County, South Dakota. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. On the job you will handle: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards 4+ years on the tools preferred.
