Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T The role involves deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances.
