Pipe tig welder — Lyon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Lyon County, Minnesota. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off.
