Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in LaSalle County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance On the job you will handle: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $22 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
