Site carpenter — Bremer County

Join our team: we are hiring a site carpenter in Bremer County, Iowa. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. On the job you will handle: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Full-time, day shift.
