Conventional mill operator — Nez Perce County

Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Nez Perce County, Idaho. You will be based at a busy machine shop. The role involves select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
