HGV driver — Hancock County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HGV driver in Hancock County, Iowa. You will be based at a container freight yard. Your main tasks: • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays You should have: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid digital tachograph card 5+ years on the tools preferred.
