Join our team: we are hiring a formwork erector in Mahaska County, Iowa. You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level On a typical shift you will set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
