The role involves: • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio You should have: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
