Press operator wanted in Wake County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press operator in Wake County, North Carolina. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Your main tasks: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses 4+ years on the tools preferred.
