Flatlock machine operator — Sherburne County

Join our team: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Sherburne County, Minnesota. On a typical shift you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching 3+ years on the tools preferred.
