Quality checker — Cornwall

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality checker in Cornwall, England. You will be based at a food processing unit. You will segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Part-time with flexible hours.
