Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills We offer $200 per day plus benefits.
