Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Okaloosa County, Florida. The job is at a residential building site. The role involves: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks 5+ years on the tools preferred.
