Now hiring: we are hiring a retail butcher in Pendleton County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Overtime paid at a premium rate.
