Head baker — Union County

Join our team: we are hiring a head baker in Union County, Oregon. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. Your main tasks: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Score the top of loaves before baking • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
