Now hiring: we are hiring a moulder in Morgan County, Colorado. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts On a typical shift you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces.
