Now hiring: we are hiring a power float operator in Bama, Borno State. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers On a typical shift you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified. ₦265,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
