Immediate opening: groundsman (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundsman in Thomas County, Georgia. Day to day you will dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds. Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
