Elevator technician — Mendocino County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator technician in Mendocino County, California. You will work at a busy lift company. Day to day you will adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; run load and overload tests with test weights; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. What we are looking for: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Six days a week, one day off.
