Carpenter — Foard County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a carpenter in Foard County, Texas. You will be based on a commercial fit-out site. Day to day you will build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Own basic hand tools Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
