Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in Chambers County, Texas. On a typical shift you will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
