Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Greene County, North Carolina. Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling On a typical shift you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $130 per day plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
