Urgent requirement: meat trimmer (Oregon)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Josephine County, Oregon. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Day-to-day duties: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Season and marinate meat on request • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
