Plant operator (dozer) — Goochland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Goochland County, Virginia. The job is on a road construction project. The role involves strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil. Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
