Vertical transportation technician — Union County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Union County, Kentucky. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate The role involves: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
