Semi-automatic welder • Big Stone County, Minnesota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Big Stone County, Minnesota. You will work on a structural steel site. Day to day you will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off.
