Construction labourer • Gumel, Jigawa State

Now hiring: we are hiring a construction labourer in Gumel, Jigawa State. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. On a typical shift you will clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean. What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Physically fit and comfortable working at height 5+ years on the tools preferred.
