Immediate opening: we are hiring a dough maker in Throckmorton County, Texas. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. On a typical shift you will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Six days a week, one day off. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
