Finish carpenter — Menard County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Menard County, Texas. You will be based on a commercial fit-out site. Day to day you will glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. Requirements: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
