The role involves: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Full-time, day shift.
