Trowel-trade bricklayer — Frederick County

Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Frederick County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
