Immediate opening: wet plasterer (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Montgomery County, Virginia. You will work at a new-build housing development. Your main tasks: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work Requirements: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • CSCS card or willing to obtain one At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $6,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
