Immediate opening: packaging machine operator (Georgia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Long County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Your main tasks: • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
