Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Piscataquis County, Maine. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces The role involves: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
