Refrigeration technician — Bristol County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Bristol County, Massachusetts. You will be based in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade On the job you will handle: • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
