Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. The role involves: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T 4+ years on the tools preferred.
